Reminders from the Office
Students may enter the building at 9:00 am. The school day begins/tardy bells rings at 9:15 am. Arriving to school on time is very important!
If your child is late to school, they must be signed in by a parent/guardian as "Tardy" using our computer system in the office. A tardy pass will be printed for them to take to their teacher. Students who are not signed in by their responsible adult will be marked with an unexcused tardy. Three unexcused tardies/early dismissals can be counted as one full day of absence from school when excessive tardies/early dismissals occur.
All adult visitors must report to the office! After signing in using our computer system in the office, you will receive a visitor's badge that you must wear. Please sign out before leaving.
If your child misses school, please send a written note or doctor's excuse with your child explaining the absence. In order for the absence to be considered "excused," the note must be received within three days of his/her return to school. For early dismissals OR if there is a change to what your child normally does after school (i.e. riding a different bus, being picked up after school), please send a note with him/her that morning. The teacher will forward the note to the office so we will be aware as well. ALL changes must be made BEFORE 3:00pm. This is for the safety of your child! You will need to sign your child out using our computer system in the front office and then, if after school, meet him/her in the cafeteria. School ends at 3:55.
