GHS Renaissance is hosting a Trunk or Treat tomorrow, October 29 for kids 13 and under in the GHS student lot next to the field hockey field. Trunks will be hosted by GHS clubs, staff, and students. We will have games and more in the field hockey field as well! We want to host the next generation of Gloucester Dukes - hope to see you there!

🚗 Get Ready to Get Stranded... with Off Road! 🎭 Join us for an exciting one-act production of Off Road as our talented cast and crew take you on an unforgettable journey! This unique show is the result of hard work, creativity, and passion, and we’re thrilled to share it with you before they compete in the VHSL One-Act Theatre Competition. Candid Color Photography will be at Gloucester High School on Tuesday, October 29th from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. in the Auxiliary gym completing Grades 9-11 Underclass make-up pictures. Students are to go to the Auxiliary gym in the following order to complete their make-up picture: • Grade 9- 8:00 a.m. • Grade 10- 8:30 a.m. • Grade 11- 9:00 a.m.

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, HOSA is asking that everyone show their support by wearing pink on Friday, October 18th. The Nurse Aide class is still selling Breast Cancer Awareness bracelets for $5 should you want one see Mrs. Nester or a Nurse Aide student.

At approximately 8:50 this morning, Gloucester High School was evacuated due to a gas leak detected on the roof. Our priority was the safety of all students and staff. Fire and life safety teams responded immediately, and parents and students were promptly notified via email and text by 8:55. Students remained safe outside while we awaited confirmation from the fire department. At approximately 9:28 am, the building was declared safe, and everyone was allowed to reenter. We are incredibly grateful for the calm cooperation of our students and staff, and for the swift, professional response from the fire department and the Gloucester County Sheriff’s Office. Thank you for your continued support as we ensure the safety of our school community. Operations have now resumed as normal.

GHS is evacuating the building at 8:51AM today, 10/9/2024, due to an odor of propane in the building. I will update you when we are able to return to the building. Thank you, Stefan Mygas, Ed.D.
