Day 14 (Guess Who?): HIs given name was Cassius Clay. He won a gold medal at the 1960 Olympics for boxing. His professional boxing record was 56 wins to 5 losses. His nickname was “The Greatest.”

Day 13 (Guess Who?): He fought civil rights. He helped form the NAACP.
Attended Harvard University and was the first African-American to earn a Doctorate there.

Day 12 (Guess Who?): He was the first African American to play in the Major League Baseball for the Brooklyn Dodgers. He served in the Army during WWII. After baseball, he became VP to Chock Full O’ Nuts Coffee.

Day 10 (Guess Who?): She represented Texas in the House of Representatives. She was an educator and worked at the Tuskegee Institute. She worked to improve the lives of minorities and the poor.

Day 9 (Guess Who?): He was a four star general. First African-American to serve as the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. First African-American to serve as Secretary of State.

She was Shirley Chisholm.

Day 8 (Guess Who?): She was the first African-American woman to be elected to Congress. Fought for the equal rights of women, minorities, the poor and immigrants. She ran for President of the U.S in 1972.

She was Billie Holiday.
